Are you expecting a baby soon? Congratulations!
If you’re a visitor to Canada and looking for coverage for your pregnancy, we’re pleased to offer Visitors to Canada Plan from Manulife.
It has a benefit for medical emergencies due to complications of pregnancy.
Although the benefit is limited to “complications“, it sure is a huge relief for expected mothers.
Please note that complications that happen in the 9 weeks before or after the expected date of delivery are excluded. Expenses for routine prenatal care, child birth, and a new born are also excluded.
NO pre-existing medical conditions are covered in Plan A; meanwhile these conditions may be covered in Plan B if stable for 180 days prior to policy effective date.
